We are seeking a
Delivery Driver
in
Hillsborough
, NJ.
The Delivery Driver loads and transports arrangements to customer's homes, business, municipal buildings, hospitals and any location required by the business, using a company vehicle. The Delivery Driver also transports consumers to and from program and acts as a stand in for program transportation as needed.
Responsibilities
Load and transport flowers arrangements to delivery sites, as indicated by business needsTransport Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities to and from day programAssist individuals with getting on and off vans or vehiclesEnsure the safety of Individuals and maintain a safe environmentPerform any tasks needed by shop involving driving, including but not limited to bank visits, supply pick up or delivery and transportation of consumers to and from homesAttend staff meetings as determined by supervisorAttend any necessary trainingsEmployees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigationAdditional tasks and responsibilities may be assignedMinimum Requirements
High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with satisfactory driving recordThe ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in a crisis situationThe ability to interact with a wide range of peopleAbility to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with consumersAbility to read and write EnglishAbility to lift 50 poundsWorking Conditions
Employee travels utilizing your own vehicle or company provided vehiclesFrequent lifting, stretching, and other physical exertionMay occasionally assist with wheelchair transfer of non-ambulatory consumersMay be exposed to various medical conditions and communicable diseasesMay be exposed to various plants and pollensFlexible schedule as determined by supervisorWhy Community Options?
