Business Intelligence Analyst

This role will play a pivotal part in optimizing processes and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance business performance.Position Overview:As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Wayne's Pest Control, you will be responsible for supporting finance and operations through data analysis and reporting. Your primary focus will be on utilizing tools such as Power BI, Excel (including Power Query and Power Pivot), and SQL to gather, analyze, and visualize data. Additionally, experience with P&Ls, balance sheets, and general ledgers will be beneficial in this role, as you will be working closely with financial data.Key Responsibilities:· Collaborate with finance and operations teams to gather and analyze data related to financial performance, operational processes, and customer satisfaction.· Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers using Power BI, Excel (including Power Query and Power Pivot), and other relevant tools.· Utilize SQL to extract and analyze data from relational databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.· Support the implementation and maintenance of data analytics projects, including data extraction, transformation, and visualization.· Assist in conducting root cause analysis to identify factors impacting financial and operational performance and recommend actionable solutions.· Utilize your understanding of P&Ls, balance sheets, and general ledgers to provide insights into financial performance.· Work closely with the IT team to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across various systems and platforms.Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or related field.· At least 3 years of experience in a business analysis or data analytics role, with a focus on finance and operations.· Proficiency in Power BI, Excel (including Power Query and Power Pivot), and SQL.· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize data effectively.· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Why Join Us:Wayne's Pest Control offers a supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions will be valued and recognized.
