We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for our clients.Responsibilities

Create clear and concise technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and system specificationsGather information from subject matter experts and engineers to understand complex technical conceptsOrganize and structure technical information in a logical and user-friendly mannerEdit and proofread technical documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistencyEnsure compliance with industry standards and guidelinesPublish and distribute technical documentation to the appropriate stakeholdersUpdate and maintain existing technical documentation as requiredCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and incorporate changesWork with document management systems to organize and store technical documentationStay current with industry trends and best practices in technical documentationRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, or a related fieldProven experience as a Technical Documentation Specialist or similar roleExcellent writing, editing, and proofreading skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work with complex technical informationProficiency in using authoring tools (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Word)Experience with document management systemsKnowledge of style guides and industry standards for technical documentation (e.g., Microsoft Manual of Style, S1000D)Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter expertsFamiliarity with Aerospace & Defense industry terminology and conceptsExperience with graphic and visual design is a plusKnowledge of XML and structured authoring is a plusWorking Knowledge of AutoCAD or other computer-aided design softwareKnowledge of Electronic Components for RF Microwave applicationsKnowledge of coding and scripting languages, such as C++, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or other program or declarative languagesBenefits
