Position is working Back office with some front office iin a Opthalmology & Ocular Facial Plastic Surgery Group of multiple providers.Summary:Position: Back Office Medical Assistant with some Front Office Assist with front office to office management and staffHourly Pay Rate Range: $20-$25 p/hour (DOE)Job Type: Full TimeFacility: Ophthalmology & Ocular Facial Plastic Surgery Location: Newport Beach, CADays: Monday- Friday 8:30 a.m.-5pm**Must have some Opthalmology, Plastic Surgery, or Dermatology background**Duties Introduce the patient to the office and medical provider and efficiently prepare patients for their visit. Take photos of eye pupils, check vision charts, set up supplies for procedures Assist with patient phone calls, scheduling appointments, and collecting payments Participate in phone calls with patients regarding post-procedure care, prescriptions, and other patient questions Become familiar with iPad-based electronic medical record and inputting medical notes, prescriptions, etc. Position Requirements Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma 2+ years of experience in a medical professional's office Must have some Opthalmology, Plastic Surgery, or Dermatology background Exceptional customer service & organizational skills EMR skills requiredHALO Staffing Group works with the largest and best hospital systems and offers top-pay and full benefits.
