Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester

to consult on a program initiative to establish a modernized public health (PH) data ecosystem, including efforts to modernize infrastructure and system needs to help federal, state, tribal, local, and territorial (STLT). Global public health organizations and institutions make decisions about necessary improvements that will allow data to flow more seamlessly.Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.Conduct functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing of software applications.Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide feedback to development teams to prevent recurrence.Participate in requirements analysis and review meetings to ensure testability and quality of software requirements.Design and implement automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Test Complete.Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in software quality assurance and testing, and recommend improvements to our testing processes.Mentor junior QA team members and guide testing techniques and methodologies.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Entry-level to Senior-level experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is desirable.ISTQB or similar certifications are a plus.Security, Salary, and Benefits:
