We are searching for a SAP FI/CO Consultant, the candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, along with expertise in configuring, optimizing, and integrating these modules to meet our business needs. The consultant will play a pivotal role in managing master data, understanding Mexico Maquiladora requirements, and ensuring compliance with local finance and tax regulations. In addition, the candidate should excel in product costing, and configurable controls, and possess strong communication and functional specification development skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain master data including customers, vendors, materials, and GL accounts within the SAP FI/CO module.
Configure Mexico Maquiladora-specific requirements, including local finance and tax regulations, and understanding of Free Trade Zone requirements.
Ensure seamless integration from MM and SD modules into FI/CO processes.
Expertise in Profit Center Accounting (PCA) and Cost Center Accounting (CCA) configurations.
Understand and configure product costing processes, including costing variants and cost rolls.
Handle additive costs and ensure accurate cost calculations and allocations.
Configure and implement controls to meet specific business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional specifications and prototype solutions for system enhancements.
Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts to ensure the quality and accuracy of implemented solutions.
Train end-users on new functionalities and processes within the FI/CO modules.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant.
Extensive knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, including configuration, optimization, and integration.
Proficiency in managing master data, including customers, vendors, materials, and GL accounts.
In-depth understanding of Mexico Maquiladora configuration requirements, local finance, and tax regulations, as well as Free Trade Zone requirements.
Strong grasp of integration between MM, SD, and FI/CO modules.
Expertise in Profit Center Accounting (PCA) and Cost Center Accounting (CCA) configurations.
Experience in product costing processes, costing variants, and cost rolls.
Familiarity with configurable controls and their implementation.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to develop functional specifications, prototype solutions, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Proficiency in creating and executing test scripts for thorough quality assurance.
Ability to provide training to end-users on new functionalities and processes within the FI/CO modules.
