Description
Artemis Fine Art Services has an open position for a career-orientated Account Manager. The essential duties of the role is to manage and support the development of relationships with auction houses, designers, galleries, agents and collectors. This role would ideally suit a candidate with experience working with auction houses / galleries and an understanding of the logistics involved with the fine art industry. We are predominantly looking for a candidate who can build relationships, co-ordinate the auction house sales and art fairs throughout the year and generate exciting new business opportunities.

Ensure all shipping aspects of client requirements are adhered to, particular to service specificationsAble to manage small and large projects from quote stage to billing completionManage the whole client experience of the shipping process ensuring client satisfaction and expectations are exceededTo document the goods inward / outward process for international shipments, including maintenance of all incoming consolidated sea shipments from start to finishTo maintain files in accordance with company protocols and proceduresEnsure inventories and commercial invoices comply to international requirements and restrictionsApplications for CITES, NOAA, Fish and Wildlife permitsPlanning turnaround times, scheduling the process of collection, packing and shippingEnsure that all accounts are maintained to the highest level, running the shipment as cost efficiently as able without damaging customer satisfactionUse all resources available to ensure the highest customer satisfactionAdhere to local regulations and legislationsForward planning of all operational requirements to ensure resources are availableSupporting VP of Client Services and Senior Account Managers with their day to day workload including setting up client files, producing bills of lading and generating invoicesCoordinate the Auction House, Interior Design and Gallery departmentsLiaising with the Dispatch and Operational departments regarding collections, deliveries and packing requirements ensuring the client's expectations are metEnsuring the department calls are handled in a prompt and professional mannerAssisting your line manager, General Manager and Director when requiredEnsure a high degree of detail and focus on every jobGeneral
Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures, and all other Company policies and procedures in placeAdhere to all Health & Safety policies and proceduresTo act at all times in the best interests of Cadogan Tate, its customers and its employeesSkills Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degreeThorough knowledge of the industryAbility to work well under pressure, to cost and time constraintsExceptional relationship management skills and the ability to build and grow connections with people of all types and backgroundsEfficiently coordinate shipments with other departmentsExcellent problem-solving skills, able to use intuition to resolve any issues and complaints from the clientHighly organized and detail orientated, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at onceAbility to thrive in a fast paced, multifaceted work environmentProficient in Microsoft Office and internal computer systems - Moveware / iLive (training will be provided)Excellent email etiquette and a good telephone manner that is polite and courteous at all timesDemonstrates good communication skills both written & spokenHas excellent time management and organizational skills - Able to multi-task as requiredTeam player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environmentComfortable in a results-driven workplaceBenefits
