A financial services firm in California is currently seeking a new Financial Analyst to join their team in a Senior-level position. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial attributes by data mining (collecting), benchmarking (monitoring), and reporting the results of the analysis.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Analyst will:Conduct studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or actionAnalyze financial information to determine present and future financial performanceIdentify trends and recommends improvements accordinglyEvaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statementsDirect the preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecastsMake recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategiesGather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecastsResearch and prepare operational / workflow analysis, including appropriate flowcharting and other data visualizations to facilitate effective communicationPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
4+ years of Financial Analysis experienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related fieldMicrosoft Office proficientSolid analytical, mathematical, and research skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:
CPA or parts passedWorking knowledge of PowerQuery, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, NetSuite, and Salesforce
