The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major and planned gift donors, including alumni, parents, friends, and key stakeholders of the institution. This role involves leading all aspects of the Moves Management process, initiating and developing relationships with potential donors, and creating solicitation strategies. The Executive Director will also be the lead manager for a comprehensive campaign, setting an example for the development staff, and ensuring that all efforts align with the goals of the Advancement Division. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in major gifts, planned giving, and annual giving, with a preference for those who have worked in a higher education setting. The role requires the ability to integrate the Development Office into the Advancement Division, lead and inspire staff, and work collaboratively with the college president, vice president, and other institutional leaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of best practices in development, the ability to create comprehensive solicitation frameworks, and experience in promoting strategic fundraising priorities.
