In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives that significantly enhance faculty development and excellence. You will collaborate with faculty members and institutional leadership to assess and address their needs, while developing and implementing innovative programs that promote faculty growth in teaching, scholarship, service, and leadership.This dynamic position requires a strategic thinker who aligns faculty development efforts with the university’s mission. You will be at the forefront of integrating innovative pedagogies, including advanced online and hybrid learning strategies, and will analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness.The ideal candidate will possess a doctoral degree and have a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in faculty development, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. A demonstrated record of scholarly contributions in the field of teaching and learning, such as publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national conferences, is crucial. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for engaging effectively with diverse individuals and groups.In addition, the Director will actively foster partnerships, seek external funding opportunities, and contribute significantly to institutional assessment and accreditation efforts related to faculty development.
