Sales Representative (Logistics)

The individual performing this job function is empowered with adequate authority to exercise the required duties and responsibilities of the position to ensure that all work performed meets or exceeds standards for safety, quality and productivity. This position requires serve as the point of contact between a business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services. Qualifications often include strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a bachelor’s degree in business or related fields. We are currently searching for a highly motivated Sales Representative (Logistics) in Atlanta, GA.

ResponsibilitiesOverseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaignsPlanning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales RepresentativesDirecting and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionallyPreparing sales budgets and projections and approving expendituresTracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metricsHandling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or serviceSetting discount rates and determining price schedulesAdvising distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partnersMaking data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocationDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key clientsSetting sales quotas and goalsOverseeing and directing performance of the sales teamIdentifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunitiesDefining and executing territory sales plans

Education & Experience Requirements

Proven work experience as a Sales Representative (at least 3-4 years)Excellent knowledge of MS OfficeHighly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in salesExcellent selling, negotiation and communication skillsPrioritizing, time management and organizational skillsAbility to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needsRelationship management skills and openness to feedbackBachelor’s degree in business or a related fieldBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, AD&D, 401K, and generous PTOs/ paid holidays, Company Car
