Tesla is looking for a Construction Project Manager to support the construction of the new ground up Semi truck manufacturing facility that requires exceptional talent. Responsibilities
Management of the planning, procurement, execution and close-out of Core and Shell structural and architectural systems, including Building dry in and interior fit outsKnowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systemsDevelop and manage execution plans to ensure cost and schedule expectations are achievedDevelop and manage funding requests for new projectsPerform constructability reviews during design development to ensure engineering documents meet project needsWork with the Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor proposals against cost/schedule estimates for purchaseInterface with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teamsRequirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceExperience as a Project or Construction Manager on $50M+ industrial or commercial construction projectsProven experience in the areas of process piping, wet and dry systems, plumbing and other mechanical systems associated with manufacturing facilitiesKnowledge of mechanical codes and standards, including ASTM, ASHRAE and ASMEProficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysisWillingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field to ensure project objectives are being metAbility to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goalsCompensation and BenefitsBenefits
