About Our ClientThe hiring company, a leader in digital marketplace, is seeking a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to join their team. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy by providing valuable insights on sales data and activities. This role will require expertise in sales analytics and data strategy.Key Responsibilities:Building and maintaining sales commission data, pipelines, and ad-hoc reportingActing as a strategic partner to senior sales leaders and becoming an expert on the assigned regions performance, key metrics, and top initiativesProviding proactive, timely, and actionable analytics, focusing on improving sales productivity and highlighting trends and key indicators across the sales regionUtilizing advanced data analytics techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret incomplete datasets, deriving directionally accurate information to inform strategic decisionsExploring product bundling and product suite optimization to maximize existing offeringsIdentifying ideal demographics for product suites and providing insights on targeting strategiesAnalyzing sales floor performance and providing recommendations for improvementsIndependently sourcing relevant data and recognizing when the right data is availableTransforming data into actionable insights and visualizing it effectively using tools like LookerTracking data trends and size customers, linking this information to future business strategiesIdentifying and communicating critical trends and insights to drive business decisionsDemonstrating a passion for working with data and the ability to turn raw data into actionable insightsServing as a liaison between the company's data needs and what is currently available, guiding data cleansing efforts when necessaryPossessing the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders with data-driven insightsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst, with a focus on sales analyticsProficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, or similarStrong experience with data visualization tools (Looker is preferred) and dashboard developmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailStrong project management and organizational skillsAbility to communicate complex findings and insights to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to independently source and assess data for relevanceFamiliarity with data cleansing processes and experience in data cleaning is a plusStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and persuade stakeholdersAble to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected changeMust be a permanent resident of the US
