The Sr. Engineers, Software is located in Overland Park, KS will research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.*Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Work on technical assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.Develop full software stack and interact with system engineers to define system requirements and automation initiatives.Develop software solutions, conduct tests and inspections, prepare reports and calculations.Improve existing and new systems, processes, and services.Document how technology operates, create clear documentation for new code and systems developed, and document system designs, presentations, and business requirements for senior leadership.Collaborate with technical teams to deliver technical solutions and mentor team members by leading in-house workshops and learning sessions.Specific Skills Requirement - must have professional experience in:Using .Net, writing and maintaining code with C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Angular JS and Adobe Flex, deploying code changes, and tuning performance for high-volume datasets.Writing advanced OraclePL and SQLon large Oracle databases and using SecureCRT, WINSCP, AWS, GITHUB, and MKS integrity tool.Coding in a DevOps environment within a SCRUM framework to deliver Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery automations.Using Linux, UNIX, and shell scripting, and managing cronjobs.Working with Kafka, Splunk, APPDynamics, and CICD Pipeline.Using Microsoft SQL server, and writing and maintaining T-SQL code.Experience and education requirements:PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.Additional:Location: Overland Park, KSThis position is eligible for the employee referral program.How to apply:Visit https://www.t-mobile.com/careersCreate a candidate profile, and apply to requisition number: REQ276585OTHER: Work hours: 40 hours/week.
