Sr. Engineers, Systems Architecture located in Overland Park, KS will act as subject matter expert in design and architecture of solutions in Operational Support Systems (OSS) domain areas.Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Work with users on problem escalations to understand issues with design and functionality related to operation support systems tools and make design and architecture changes to operational support systems tools to meet end user requirements;Create operational support systems architecture design and end-to-end operational support systems software solution;Evaluate and test potential operational support systems architecture solutions to ensure they meet network and engineering business needs and requirements;Create and produce IT Operational Support Systems architecture designs across multiple domains for Network/IT projects to translate user requirements into solution and participate in operational support systems tools proof of concept and provide assessments;Research and produce standards documents; research future industry trends in the network operational support systems space and look for opportunities to integrate into the business;Create operational support system tools/domains roadmap to align operational support systems architecture blueprints with business processes and network technology operation support systems processes;Assist with root cause analysis, troubleshooting design failures, performance problems, and other identified anomalies impacting on the analytical network applications functionality delivery;Undertake complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge;Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency;Monitor project schedules and costs.Specific Skills Requirement - must have educational or professional experience in:Network experience in wireless telecommunications industry working with IMS, LTE, VoLTE, 5G mobile networks architectures, protocols; 3GPP and IETF network standards and specifications.Experience analyzing and architecting emerging technologies including cloud-based technology (Docker, Kubernetes), AI and ML automation solutions in telecom network environments.Experience creating and managing plans for implementing future technologies requiring network monitoring and probe solutions; collaborating and designing monitoring solutions with enterprise-wide cross-functional technical teams.Experience designing and developing software applications utilizing C#, Java, SQL, PHP, Perl, Unix, Linux.Experience with monitoring tools, including Netscout, Empirix. Experience vetting, testing, and implementing telecom monitoring solutions from vendors and leading proof of concepts to solve wireless network monitoring use cases.Experience and education requirements:PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related, and three years of relevant work experience.ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related, and five years of relevant work experience.Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.Additional:Location: Overland Park, KSThis position is eligible for the employee referral program.How to apply:Visit www.tmobile.jobs.
