Together, we won't stop!Position SummaryT-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Senior Engineers, Systems Design is located in Overland Park, KS, and will research, design, plan, develop, and evaluate new advanced network technologies by translating requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design for projects that are highly complex.Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.Position Duties and Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain business' network, data communications network, operating systems, and applicable servers.Assess customer networked application needs.Provide network modeling and simulation testing and engineer high-speed technology network transports to deliver application functionality.Drive Small Cells Radio Access Network (RAN) and Macro Radio Access Network development testing.Develop test strategies, requirements, plans, case design, and environment configuration.Execute detailed tests, root cause analysis, fix validation, and reporting.Lead cross-functional communication and collaboration to deliver 4G/5G Macro, Small Cell, and Femto products to the Network.Skill Requirements

Must have some professional experience in each of the following:Using LTE & 5G Engineering Design validation to understand project requirements, develop strategies, build, and execute test plans.Working with QXDM, QPST, Wireshark, and XCAL to validate LTE and 5G platforms.MIMO (Multiple input multiple output), 256 QAM, LTE (Long term evolution), VoLTE, MOCN, and SA Mobility to perform feature testing and validate test results.Utilizing S1, X2, Xn, NG, Voice over LTE, Voice over NR, Nokia NetAct, Web element manager, and OSS to validate products in lab and First office Application (FOA).Validating hardware and software for end-to-end nodes, including UEs (user equipment), EPC (Evolved packet core), and IMS/Core network.Working with 3GPP standards to troubleshoot networks and ensure product adheres to 3GPP protocol standards.Validating new S/W features for elements in Nokia femto platform, including MSFAP (Femto cell) 5G NSA /4G LTE /3G capable, SMP (Service Management platform) provisioning and management node, AAA (Authentication /Authorization / Accounting), SeGW (Security gateway), and FGW (Femto Gateway).Using XCAP to analyze behavior in line with 3GPP and industry standards.Experience and Education Requirements

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related, and 5 years of relevant post-Bachelor's, progressive work experience.Additional Information
