Let’s Talk About The Role

As a Senior Technical Program Manager in an agile Medical Software Development environment, you will be working as part of a team of Technical Program Managers, and you will be responsible for planning, tracking, and end to end delivery of complex programs of work.

You will partner with teams across the Digital Platform Engineering (DPE) group, whose mission is to increase the speed of innovation through platforms that enable seamless development and management of intelligent digital services. Central to the team’s mission is ResMed’s Global Data Platform, which enables the ‘intelligent’ in our digital service innovation.

You will manage complex, high-impact programs related to Data, Analytics, Data Governance, Cloud Capabilities, Security and Privacy by Design and more, collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and sponsors in the AI/ML, Product Development, and other groups across multiple geographies.

This is a critical position where your work will have an immediate impact towards building a world class cloud-based Data Platform to enable the future of ResMed.

You will be responsible for program planning and tracking, focusing on regular and timely delivery of value to end customers.You will collaborate across the business on data enablement, ensuring data is fit for purposeYou will partner with data analysts and data scientists to enable data and AI/ML capability and productsAs an agile coach you will manage and optimize the flow of work using the principles of agility, facilitate planning sessions and other agile activities, and most importantly be an agile advocate and mentor.Work with product managers, engineering managers, program managers and other stakeholders to ensure team alignment with commitments to the businesses and sync points with other teams.Organize and lead program status and working meetings and prepare and distribute progress reports to stakeholders.Manage risks and issues and be accountable for escalating as required, ensuring resolution to program issues, managing resource constraints, dependencies and timing challenges and syncing dependencies across teams.Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionallyProvide status reports highlighting accomplishments, plans, and issues across all assigned programsManage and release software in a regulated environment.Manage software release activities and documentation, including coordination with all applicable stakeholdersManage and communicate the implementation of significant changes to planning objectives, schedule, and product configuration to internal and external stakeholdersEstablish and regularly review key team metrics including resourcing, and performance trendsEnsure the implementation of management systems within your area of responsibility (including health & safety, quality & environmental)

Let’s Talk About You

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline4+ years of Program Management experience working directly with multiple agile teamsExperience managing programs/projects in highly matrixed agile software development culturesExperience managing data projects, including data ingestion, analytics and governanceExperience partnering with data scientistsExperience working in a modern cloud-based software product development environment, with cloud native AWS experience preferredStrong understanding of the software development lifecycleExperience in all phases of the software/project lifecycle, interfacing both with technical teams and business users spanning multiple geographies

Preferred:

PSM I or CSMPMPPractical experience and working knowledge of full cycle DevOps teamsFamiliarity with agile software development tools such as JiraExperience with scaling agile teamsExperience working with medical devices or a regulated environment

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

Base Pay Range for this position:

$130,000 - $194,000

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
