The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:
Conducting mental status examsAssessing physical health needsMaking appropriate referrals to Community PhysiciansProviding management and administration of medications in conjunction with PsychiatristParticipating on team that delivers an integrated array of treatment, rehabilitation and support services, customized to each personParticipating in rotating 24-hour crisis coverage and responsePerform other related duties, as assignedQualifications
1+ year of experience in a Treatment and/or Rehabilitation settingGraduate of an accredited School of NursingNYS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseKnowledge of Nursing assessment methodsSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsPatient orientedGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organized
