A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Queens.
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:Conducting mental status examsAssessing physical health needsMaking appropriate referrals to Community PhysiciansProviding management and administration of medications in conjunction with PsychiatristParticipating on team that delivers an integrated array of treatment, rehabilitation and support services, customized to each personProviding the majority of services in community; participating in rotating 24-hour crisis coverage and responsePerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:
1+ year of experience in a Rehabilitation and/or Treatment settingGraduate of an accredited School of NursingNYS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseDesired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in NursingKnowledge of Nursing Assessment methods
