Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Digital Factory Engineer. This position can be based remotely within the following geographic locations: Carolinas, Milwaukee Metro area or Pittsburg metro areaThe Digital Engineer for the Electrical Sector America's (ES-A) will be part of the regional I4.0 Team. This team is responsible for leading the deployment of multiple I4.0 technologies including augmented reality, factory simulation, real-time machine monitoring, overall equipment effectiveness, Digital work instructions, Data Analytics, and Machine learning support of all ES-A manufacturing facilities.The expected annual salary range for this role is $105,000 - $154,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:

Champion a Digital Mindset for Electrical Sector Americas (ES-A) ManufacturingDevelop project scopes of workParticipate in Eaton global technology councilsDevelop and deploy technology playbook standards with the global tech councilsDevelop a hopper of projects and required capital for the annual profit planLead major projects to deploy Industry 4.0 tools & technologies into manufacturing operationsCollaborate with cross-functional resources to execute projects: Information Technology, Operational Excellence, Production Operations, Quality, FacilitiesGuide & support plant teams on machine connectivity & data acquisition activitiesWork as a liaison to divisional manufacturing leaders and plant teamsAlign Industry 4.0 project objectives to continuous improvement initiatives focusing on strategic value streamsAssist manufacturing teams in the development, submission & approval of business cases for Industry 4.0 project opportunitiesTrain key plant personnel on the Industry 4.0 tools & technologies being deployed to ensure successful adoption and achieve improvement objectivesDrive accountability for project execution and deliverablesDevelop knowledge & expertise in the Industry 4.0 tools & technologies to be a subject matter expert (SME)Support I4.0 Roadshows & BootcampsQualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum of 7 years of experience in industrial IoT solutionsNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within the geographic locations of the Carolinas, Milwaukee Metro area, or Pittsburg metro area will be considered for the positionMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the futurePreferred Qualifications:Experience with PLC Programming, machine connectivity protocols, Kepware, Digital data Management software (e.g. Thingworx, PCaT, Ignition, etc,)Experience with managing external consultants, suppliers, and tooling design/development companiesSkills:
