The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare law transactions including diligence, schedules and credit documentation and would provide advice on entity formation, corporate governance matters, equity compensation and strategies, and securities law compliance. This candidate will be a legal advisor and regulatory counsel to Sharecare management and staff regarding health care business transactions and contracting, including technology contracts, consulting agreements, health care contracting, procurement and related regulatory compliance, while performing a wide array of legal functions for a large healthcare technology company. This position will also serve as a subject matter expert, educational resource, and strategic adviser to Sharecare business leaders and colleagues on all aspects of governmental healthcare programs including Medicaid, Medicare, and value-based care. The successful candidate must also be able to think strategically and demonstrate sound and pragmatic judgement in a rapidly maturing healthcare technology environment.Essential Job Functions:Consult and advise business clients with regard to government program requirements including Medicaid and MedicareDevelop company policy and position on legal issuesResearch, anticipate and guard company against legal risksGuide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulationsStructure, draft and review reports and other legal documentsRepresent company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc.)Draft and administer all contractsNegotiate deals and attend company meetingsQualifications:JD Degree required4+ years proven background in healthcare law (contract law, Medicaid, Medicare, CMS standards, federal contracting, procurement, value-based care, QIA, and healthcare transactions.)Proven comparable law firm experienceExcellent negotiation and communications skillsAdministrative and managerial skillsAnalytical ability and strong attention to detailComputer skillsCurrent license to practice lawSharecare and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers and E-Verify users.
