Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Houston is seeking a Finance Associate Attorney with experience representing lenders (investment and commercial banks, business development companies, or other providers of debt financing) and/or borrowers (including private equity sponsors) in sophisticated financings for acquisitions, buyouts, restructurings, special situations, and other corporate finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have sponsor or lender-side finance experience.Duties:Represent lenders and/or borrowers in sophisticated financings for acquisitions, buyouts, restructurings, special situations, and other corporate finance transactions.Draft, review, and negotiate finance-related agreements, including credit agreements, loan documents, security agreements, and intercreditor agreements.Conduct due diligence and research related to finance transactions.Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop transaction strategies and achieve successful outcomes for clients.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Texas in good standing.Experience at a peer firm representing lenders and/or borrowers in finance transactions.Sponsor or lender-side finance experience preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to excellence and client service.Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating finance-related agreements.Strong understanding of finance principles and practices.Ability to analyze complex legal issues related to finance transactions.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration.Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.Company infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone :
