UC Riverside's Auxiliary Facilities Services is recruiting for the Assistant Director, Auxiliary Facilities Administrative Operations. The full salary range for the Assistant Director is $78,700 - $145,100 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $98,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Under the supervision of the Senior Director, Auxiliary Facilities, the Assistant Director, Administrative Operations provides leadership and oversight to critical functions of the unit including serving as primary for FAMIS 360system daily usage/infrastructure/updates and establishment of a work order, asset management and customer service team. This team will have daily oversight of centralized and streamlined work order intake/processing, aging and costing reports, procurement, parts/asset/equipment inventories and follow up to customer service inquiries. Position directly supervises functional and support staff, both full time career and student level, to ensure needs of the maintenance, custodial, resource management and project groupings are met as well as broader organization initiatives are progressing. Take lead on and continually improve the Preventative Maintenance program along with processing of all documentation to automate service and assist with equipment longevity. Participate in budget development/management and accounting processes including recharges and general billing. Closely work with campus Facilities Services (FS) to ensure Grounds and Fire/Life/Safety MOU's are fulfilled, updated and re-negotiated annually; holds dotted reporting line to Housing/Dining/TAPS Grounds Supervisor(s) and will communicate regularly with FS staff to foster a collaborative work environment. Track and follow up on Fire Safety items and required testing with Campus Fire Marshal office to collectively ensure compliance. Assist Sr. Director on emergency planning, response and recovery for Auxiliary Services. Responsible for IIPP program management and compliance. Assist unit and AS at large with local/state/federal law changes that affect our properties. Work with campus partners such as Environmental Health & Safety, Planning, Design & Construction, Campus Fire Marshal, Office for Emergency Management and represent unit on various work groups and committees. Serves on Auxiliary Services emergency team, trained and expected to respond to incidents of varying levels.
