Senior Financial Analyst

This position will provide critical financial analysis and strategic planning support to the Finance Director, Chief Financial Officer, and the management team. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports and models for facilitating management decisions as well as providing recommendations and analysis on strategic and operational issues.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports that provide insight to day-to-day operations and period ending resultsAssist in developing the model and supporting processes to facilitate robust variance discussions regarding financial and operational resultsConduct and document complex ad hoc financial analysesReport key company metrics and analysis vs. peersMaintain updated and accurate documentation for plan/forecast assumptions and calculationsPrepare and develop monthly, as well as ad hoc, financial and business-related analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, costing, and budgetingAssist in the development of long-range financial forecasts, financial portions of the annual strategic plan and related budgetsSupport the preparation of board presentations, investor relations and other presentations, as neededCoordinate with accounting in processing and comparing actuals versus budgetEnsure accuracy of analysis and compliance with all standards and processesWork with the Finance team on various special projects and initiativesPrepare statistical studies and economic forecasts of business trends and draw relevant conclusionsQualifications

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline; advanced degree or MBA preferred3 - 5 years of financial analysis experience with demonstrated analytical, planning and organizational skillsFinancial modeling experienceExperience in financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance conceptsHigh attention to detail and focused on data accuracyThorough knowledge of accounting and standard internal accounting control proceduresDemonstrated continuous improvement mindsetExcellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsA self-starter who can work efficiently on projects and key deliverables under deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and resultsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/financial systemsSisecam Chemicals Resources LLC provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
