Health Sciences Center in New Orleans is seeking applicants for a Neurointensivist. Appointment will be at the academic rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) with rank determined by the candidate’s credentials and experience. The anticipated primary site of clinical practice will be our Neurocritical Care Units at University Medical Center New Orleans, a Level One Trauma Center and West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, LA outside of New Orleans, a medical center of

Health with 419 licensed inpatient beds, outpatient services, as well as the system’s only Comprehensive Stroke Certification Center. Responsibilities include the development of and expansion of a Neurological Intensive Care; providing clinical services, supervision of Neurosurgery and Neurology residents, as well as shared call.
