Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking a BE/BC (or equivalent) plastic surgeon for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor; academic rank will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and stature in the field. Responsibilities include clinical care, research, and teaching in plastic surgery. Clinical activities will be primarily centered at University Medical Center – New Orleans, a full service, regional facility. Completion of a microsurgery fellowship is preferred but not required. The successful applicant should have skills to effectively collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and experience in microsurgical reconstruction, facial trauma and general reconstruction.
