Configuration Manager

to support a Modeling, Simulation, and Training team at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis, AFB, NV. The individual’s primary role is to establish and support configuration management (CM) process for JITTC-N to align with JSE Training Baseline (JTB) external capabilities and JITTC-N internally created capabilities.On-site support required: Position is not eligible for remote workAnalyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. This will include, but are not limited to:Identifying and implementing configuration management processes, review and recommend improvements to existing processes, create, and maintain the program Configuration Management Plan.Configuration identification of software and documentation, including assigning unique ID numbers and ensuring version control, maintain version control of software, hardware, and documentation.Implementation and maintenance of a physical CM Library, providing controlled access and reproducing data as needed.Regulating the change process to ensure only approved and validated changes are incorporated into program products.Organizing and supporting recurring Configuration Control Board, providing agendas and meeting minutes.Coordinating with customers and subcontractors to merge external documentation input into common program-controlled documents.Performing configuration status accounting, generating ad hoc reports as required.Updating and tracking Discrepancy Reports.Participating in joint stakeholder IPTs and team meetings.Performing and supporting audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met.Identifying, packaging, duplicating, and delivering release products to multiple fielded sites and the government.Minimum Qualifications

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.Ability to define manageable CM processes (check-out/check-in, build, release, etc.) and implement them.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required.Proficient in the use of CM tools, including JIRA, GitLab, and other CI/CD tools.Familiarity with media duplicating tools and software.Ability to evaluate the current environment, identify needs and propose a recommended CM solution.Must be able to take initiative, communicate with team members, and identify and resolve potential issues.Ability to work well with technical team including Subject Matter Experts, Developers, and Engineers.Knowledgeable in Windows and Linux operating systems.Must be a US citizen, currently hold and able to maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.Preferred Requirements

Three years of experience in establishing and maintaining consistent product performance and tracking configuration of all training systems during development and fielding.Experience in Joint Simulation Environment (JSE).Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio
