Job Summary:Jon-Don, a large and growing distributor of equipment, chemicals, and supplies to professional contractors is seeking an Inside Sales Representative.Are you looking to advance your career in sales? Do you love talking to people and persuading them on a topic or product? If so, our Inside Sales position may be for you. This sales role will be assigned a book of business, campaigns, customer prospect lists, and open territories in all customer sectors/segments throughout the United States. You will build relationships with and educate prospects and customers on Jon-Don’s products, service, and value advantage.RESPONSIBILITIES:Sell via phone/email to active customers and reengage lapsed customers.Discuss with decision makers, business owners, and contractors to sell, educate, and promote Jon-Don products, services and educationUtilize Salesforce.com to manage leads, opportunities, and activitiesActively reach out to customers for opportunities.Respond to sales inquiries via phone and/or emailConsultative sales approach to partner with customersAim for consistent, monthly revenue growth by actively managing leadsManage accounts by clear communication and problem solvingWork with internal departments to proactively manage work flow and customer requestsEducation and Experience:High School DiplomaPrevious Inside Sales ExperienceREQUIRED SKILLS / ATTITUDES:Strong verbal and written communication skillsPhone sales experience a plusAbility to ask probing questions and close a saleStrong task management and organizational skillsSense of urgency in learning new trends and products, as well as timely follow upDesire to learnHunger to plan and execute
