University of Alaska Fairbanks Police Department - Entry Level/Lateral Entry Police Officer

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Police Department is hiring for an Entry Level/Lateral Entry Police Officer position. This role involves all law enforcement and criminal investigations on the UAF Campus. The responsibilities include responding to situations where the threat level is unknown, quickly assessing and acting per departmental policy and state statutes, being aware of the role within a sensitive university setting, and maintaining good moral character. The applicant must be a United States citizen, 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain Alaska Public Safety Information Network (APSIN) security clearance within 30 days of hire. Additionally, the applicant must clear a background investigation and submit required documents. The position requires working shifts covering a 24/7 operational department and ability to work 10-12 hour shifts as assigned.Minimum Requirements:
