Staff Accountant

My client based in Anaheim, CA is actively seeking a talented Staff Accountant to contribute to their team's success. As the Staff Accountant you will assist with the month-end close process, financial statement preparation and review, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts.Client DetailsMy client is a well established and growing consumer goods company with offices in Anaheim, CA. It is an amazing time to join their growing team!DescriptionLead and participate in the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.Review and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.Contribute to financial analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights for decision-making.Prepare documentation and support internal and external audit processes.Ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Proven experience in month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.Understanding of AP and AR processes.Work and reconcile within the GL.Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication and organizational skills.This role is hybrid, with four days in-office at their Anaheim, CA offices and one day working from home.Job OfferExciting and collaborative work environment.Supportive team culture with opportunities for growth.Competitive salary and benefits package.Professional development opportunities.
