About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our Commercial Operations and Sales Strategy team in the growing Peripheral Interventions and Interventional Oncology markets. As aSenior CommercialData Analyst, you will work to develop, build and maintain critical sales enablement platforms that service a high impact, fast-paced Field Sales Organization along with internal Executive stakeholders. This is a high-profile position that requires quick thinking with an eye towards enabling a growing and tenured field sales force.You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing National sales enablement tools; opportunity identification, helping shape and guide resource deployment strategies through the use of data and helping the field and senior leadership meet business challenges through timely, impactful analytics delivered by leveraging a strong knowledge of BSC sales tools, technology and resources. Boston Scientific's Peripheral Intervention (PI) and Interventional Oncology (IO) businesses are advancing science for life by building a strong portfolio of products and technologies to serve patients globally while providing physicians and hospital systems with innovative solutions to treat patients. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and distributing sales analytics and reporting to assist field sales and sales leadership tracking of key performance indicators. Taking ownership and maintaining a deep understanding of US PI Sales data including the creation and maintenance of field sales organizational tools to help track and monitor the overall health of the business. The development and training of pro-active sales and operational tools to assess Area, Regional, Customer, Product or Seller trends with an eye to drive correction if necessary. Identifying potential selling opportunities within and across product franchises by monitoring trends, performance metrics and relevant external data. Develop/design data sets to better analyze data and reduce effort to produce analysis Collaboration with Sales Leadership and internal partners to develop and execute strategic projects to help drive sales execution. Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes being used to operationalize for go to market strategy. Having the ability to understand business impacts of moderately complex changes to the selling organizational structure, formulate ideas to minimize challenges and recommend appropriate system solutions. Making strategic recommendations to management to improve processes and support for the field sales force. Providing Ad-hoc analytical support to requests as needed. Supporting the rollout of emergent technologies to our selling teams. Leveraging currently available Boston Scientific technology to enable the field sales organization. Understanding and communicating technology needs and gaps to key internal stakeholders to help fuel investment decisions. Required Qualifications: BS/BA Business or related equivalent Minimum of 5 years supporting commercial operations with at least 2 years direct experience with business intelligence tools and data management. Advanced level knowledge of analytical tools such as Tableau, SAS, Alteryx, Salesforce.com Einstein Expert level experience with Microsoft office application including Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint and Word Ability to travel up to 10% domestically Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience within medical device industry supporting a field sales organization Excellent interpersonal skills and above average writing and verbal communication skills to work with individuals at all levels of the organization Desire to work in a high paced collaborative, teamwork-oriented environment Proven analytical and problem-solving experience In-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques Organization skills and the ability to handle work of a highly confidential nature Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities against strict deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service Working knowledge of relevant business management principles Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language Prior experience working in Sales Operations, Finance, Sales Compensation or Sales Enablement Requisition ID:585693 As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most - united by a deep caring for human life.
