in the Department of Molecular Oncology is now recruiting postdoctoral fellows. Research in our lab sits at the interface of redox biology, metabolism, and signaling, and focuses on understanding the role of antioxidant systems in cancer therapy resistance. We combine frontier molecular, genomic, proteomic, and metabolic approaches to address these questions.Position Highlights:Our research is interdisciplinary, and we look for members from diverse backgrounds.We are committed to providing an exciting research environment that allows you to reach your maximum scientific potential.Moffitt integrates excellent patient care with cutting-edge clinical and basic research.Outstanding mentorship from expert faculty with wide-ranging funded research programs including T32 Training Grants.You will be encouraged and supported to apply for training grants.The Ideal Candidate:Interested and motivated in addressing fundamental questions in cancer biology, cancer metabolism, and redox biology.Experience with proteomics or drug screening is highly desirable.A background in biochemistry and molecular biology with an emphasis on signal transduction, redox biology, or metabolism is desirable.Can work well as part of a team.Responsibilities:Leading and driving research projects.Communicating with PI on research progress.Collaborating with our team members, including technicians, students, and other postdoc fellows.Present and report research findings in meetings, conferences, and journal publications.Credentials and Qualifications:Ph.D. in molecular biology, cancer biology, or related field is required.Strong work ethic, motivation to lead and drive projects independently.Moffitt Postdocs are provided with Medical (Moffitt covers premium for team member) effective upon start date and eligible for Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Retirement, Parental Leave, and more.
