Operations ManagerPosition Summary:

The main function of an operations manager is to ensure that the different departments in the company follow through with the plans and devices he/she makes for the business's success.

Responsibilities:Direct the activities of the various departments in the company and are concerned with pricing, sales, production, and distribution of the company's products.Responsible for managing the employees, creating their work schedules, and distributing their duties.Determine employment requirements as well as interview and hire prospective employees.An operations manager also trains the newly hired employees.Manage all the activities that are associated with the production of the products the company offers.Responsible for managing the performance of the employees such as sales promotions, coordinating with different division leads, planning the layout and design of the store, and setting the prices and credit terms, as well as identifying goods and services to be sold.Supervise the remodeling of current amenities and represent the company during client meetings and negotiations.Handle problems in a calm and collected manner, even when under pressure.Review and create documents and materials to monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformation to standards and specifications.Perform day-to-day tasks to support business operations of eCommerce Fulfillment and collaboration with teams to ensure processes are being followed.Evaluate Logistics and Shipping partner's performance and surface exceptions and issues to the correct parties for resolution.Work with Logistics on filing claims against 3PLs and shipping partners.Utilize surveys to analyze and drive improvements based on qualitative feedback.Monitor and take action on exception reporting and understand measurements of KPIs for lead times, shipping time, backorders, and shipping exceptions to track progress towards operational goals for direct eCommerce business.Support day-to-day business operations of eCommerce reviewing orders and collaborating with teams to prevent back orders and ensure accurate delivery promise messaging client site.Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in business or related field2-5 years relevant experience in fulfillment and direct-to-consumer eCommerce business operationsExperience with payroll processing and wage attachment8-10 years of ExperienceExperience with eCommerce, Retail, or Consumer Electronics businessesVerbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Ability to navigate the organization to gather information, elicit feedback, and engage other teams for collaboration.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, one must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities.Experience using Microsoft PC software including extensive use of Excel spreadsheets, Word, Access, and SAP business systems, or similar sales order management software applications.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
