Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager plays a key role in managing and enhancing the human capital of our manufacturing facility and actively serves on the plant leadership team. The HR Manager is responsible for providing local oversight and administration of HR functions, fostering a positive work environment, and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with the company's goals.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:Lead the recruitment process for hourly positions, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the plant has a skilled and motivated workforce.Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless recruitment process for salaried positions.Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

Employee Relations:Act as a mediator in employee relations matters, promoting a positive work culture and resolving conflicts in a fair and constructive manner.Lead local implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures to maintain a compliant and ethical workplace.

Performance Management:Lead the performance management process for hourly employees, providing guidance to managers on performance appraisal systems, improvement plans, and employee development initiatives.Collaborate with the Corporate HR team(s) to provide local support for performance appraisal systems for salaried employees.

Training and Development:Identify training needs and collaborate with Corporate HR to coordinate professional development programs for employees.Support continuous learning and skills enhancement to ensure the workforce is aligned with industry trends.

Compensation and Benefits Administration:Collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team in administering compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with relevant regulations.Conduct (and/or provide assistance in) regular market analysis to recommend adjustments to the compensation structure.

HR Strategy and Compliance:Develop and implement local HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.Proven experience (5+ years) in Human Resources, with 3+ years of relevant supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage HR initiatives effectively.Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and MS Office.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
