Position OverviewWe are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR functions and be responsible for overseeing various HR activities within the organization. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.Responsibilities:· Recruitment and Onboarding:Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process.Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and universities.· Employee Relations:Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.Address employee inquiries and resolve conflicts through effective mediation.Promote a positive work environment and culture.· Performance Management:Implement and manage performance appraisal processes.Assist managers with setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews.Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.· Benefits Administration:Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.Conduct benefits orientations and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.Work with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure compliance with regulations.· Compliance:Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements.Conduct regular audits of HR policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.· HR Strategy and Development:Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives.· Training and Development:Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics such as compliance, performance management, and employee engagement.Support career development and succession planning efforts.· Compensation and Payroll:Assist in developing and implementing compensation strategies.Oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payment.Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to maintain competitive compensation packages.· HR Systems and Technology:Manage and optimize HR information systems (HRIS).Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.Generate HR reports and analytics for management review.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
