actively maintains an open pool of qualified individuals to be selected on an as-needed basis by the department to fulfill part-time temporary instructional needs and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Nevada State invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in-person courses in business.
Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
Adjunct faculty members teaching business courses (not including Business Law**) are compensated at the rate of $1,320 per credit hour.
**Business Law will be compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour.
Courses are typically 3 credits.

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business or closely-related field.
Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate students.
Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).

Ph.D. in Business or closely-related field.
Demonstrated commitment to active learning and innovative teaching.
Previous teaching experience.
