Insurance Defense Attorney

A law firm in Ontario, CA, seeks a skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing insurance defense matters, including bodily injury defense, construction defects, and employment-related cases. The firm values top-notch customer service and provides a supportive environment where attorneys can direct legal strategy and litigate in their style.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including bodily injury, construction defects, and employment-related cases.Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to each case and client.Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and arbitration.Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct thorough legal research and provide sound legal advice.Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in the best interest of clients.Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure high-quality legal services.Maintain communication with clients to keep them informed about case progress.Attend and participate in continuing legal education (CLE) to stay current with legal developments.Requirements:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar.Experience in managing insurance defense cases, focusing on bodily injury defense, construction defects, and employment matters.Proven ability to think creatively and strategically to meet client needs.Strong organizational and case management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Additional licensure in other states.Experience working in a team-based legal environment.Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service.
