Visitor Information Program Assistant I

is responsible for greeting, welcoming, and assisting the traveling public at the

Kahului Airport , providing information of interest to visitors to encourage travel to the major islands in the Hawaiian chain; and incidentally performing various clerical duties and other related duties as assigned.To qualify, applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements:Basic Experience:

Applicants must possess experience which demonstrated the ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions, and a high degree of verbal skill. This requirement may also be met with the possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.General Experience:

One (1) year of work experience which demonstrated positive evidence that applicants possess patience, tact, and an even temper in meeting and dealing with others.Driver's License:

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license

at the time of appointment.Substitutions Allowed:
