Hours:

Responsibilities include conducting resident wellness checks, monitoring building activities, and assisting residents with needed items. This role is part of the La Casa Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Warmly greet and direct residents and guests. Monitor security cameras and respond to security issues. Become familiar with the Housing First Model, HSRA, and HIPAA. Develop rapport with residents through routine contact. Ensure residents' safety through routine wellness checks. Report medical and psychiatric concerns to the case management team. Provide crisis intervention and contact emergency services when necessary. Complete incident reports and communicate outcomes to relevant staff. Demonstrate empathy and flexibility in responding to residents’ needs. Collaborate with team members to address crisis needs. Attend required meetings and training. Follow all agency policies and procedures. Work beyond designated hours as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned. Background & Qualifications: HS Diploma/GED and 3 years of general work experience, including one year in direct human service. Associate or bachelor's degree with 6 months of direct human service experience (preferred). Capacity to maintain strict confidentiality. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Experience with individuals with mental health concerns or addiction preferred. Ability to work in a diverse environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Word; ability to learn database programs. Ability to maintain professional boundaries. Strong commitment to the mission, including racial equity and social justice. Working Conditions:
The office is located in an apartment building and may be exposed to various conditions, including biohazards. Physical and Environmental Requirements: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Consistent sitting and walking. Background Checks:
