Safety Sensitive Who we are: Friendship Place is a nonprofit organization serving the Washington, DC, region, empowering individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness to rebuild their lives with community involvement. Our programs are person-centric and individualized to meet the needs and goals of individuals, families, youth/young adults, and Veterans experiencing homelessness. Summary: The position supports case managers and participants in bridge housing transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing. The Case Manager Supervisor works to empower case managers to facilitate participants' ability to rebuild their lives, relying on their strengths and using wraparound resources in a holistic, participant-driven process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide overall supervision, instructive mentorship, coaching, and guidance to reporters, including programmatic supervision. Provide direct day-to-day supervision of Case Managers. Collaborate with the Division Director and Assistant Director to ensure Case Managers utilize best practices and participant-centeredness. Ensure effective collaboration with external agencies providing services to participants. Demonstrate empathy and flexibility in responding to participants’ needs and requests. Participate in management meetings and contribute to planning clinical group supervision sessions and team trainings. Complete administrative program management responsibilities for the team, including reports and evaluation of the program. Ensure the timeliness of documentation in the appropriate database system. Support Case Managers by assisting with intakes and ongoing case management needs of the participants. Perform all other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or other related field and at least two years of direct human service experience providing counseling and/or case management services to vulnerable or at-risk populations AND 2+ years of supervisory experience OR A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field AND 2+ years of supervisory experience. Experience working within homeless services and other marginalized populations. Supervisor and/or leadership experience preferred. Requirements: Understanding of adult rehabilitation services and a person-centered approach. Experience working with individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. Experience with addictions, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. Strong written and verbal skills. Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment. Ability to work well under pressure. Strong commitment to mission, including racial equity and social justice. Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Position will operate in a site-based service environment. Employee must be able to sit for extended periods and operate a motorized vehicle. Some lifting may be required (up to 20-25lbs). Background Checks:
The selected candidate must pass a criminal history background check, including FBI screening, drug and alcohol screening, DC and State Metropolitan Police Clearance, and TB Screening. Direct Reports:

The hiring pay range is between
$69,325.00 - 75,654.00 . The starting annual salary is based on a step system, which is set and not open to negotiation. Benefits:
