Job Summary:

The Director of Finance is a key leadership role responsible for providing essential financial insights to drive strategic decision-making, overseeing financial planning and reporting, conducting in-depth business analysis, and optimizing resource allocation. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively across various functional areas in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Oversee finance and treasury departments of the company.
  • Treasury:
    • Primary contract for banking and other financing relationships.
    • Forecast and monitor debt covenants to ensure compliance.
    • Manage cash and liquidity to meet the company's operational needs. Maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast to ensure liquidity management.
  • FP&A:
    • Develop, manage, and implement comprehensive financial planning and analysis processes, procedures, and systems to support strategic decision-making.
    • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports and metrics, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards.
    • Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to senior management and stakeholders, and provide guidance and support to other departments in financial analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Project Development:
    • Lead the development of financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate potential business opportunities, acquisitions, and investments.
    • Work with our Chief Commercial Officer directly on construction projects and cash needs.
  • CFO Support:
    • Collaborate with Senior Management to build annual budgets and periodic forecasts for all departments and channels.
    • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate audits and tax filings.
    • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  1. Track capital acquisitions and prepare quarterly report.
  • Insurance:
    1. Renewal application and general correspondence with Broker.
    2. Provide Policy/Coverage and assist with related questions.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics; MBA in Finance preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems. Experience with a BI software is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to develop financial models and perform complex scenario analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functional areas and with senior management.
