Step into a pivotal role at MAC Ski & Snowboard as an Assistant Ski Coach, guiding young athletes in the YSL Team or U14 USSS Team. This part-time, seasonal position offers the opportunity to coach dedicated athletes ages U8 to U14, helping them develop their skills and compete in prestigious racing events.What You’ll Do:Coach athletes in the YSL Team (ages 6-13) up to three days per week, including Wednesday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays.Lead training sessions for the U14 USSS Team (ages 12-13) up to four days per week, including Wednesday and Thursday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays.Prepare athletes for competitions, including the Mt. Hood Youth Ski League race series, PNW U14 Qualifier Series, and the Western Region U14 Championships.Collaborate closely with the Lead YSL Team Coach, Lead U14 USSS Team Coach, and the Program Director/Head Coach to ensure a cohesive training program.Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes athlete development and a love for skiing.What You’ll Bring:Current professional certification from US Ski and Snowboard and/or PSIA, or significant experience in ski instruction, race coaching, or competition as an athlete.Preferred, but not required, competitive team coaching experience.Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage training sessions and competition schedules.Technological proficiency, including familiarity with computer applications, email communication, Microsoft Office programs, Dayforce App for employee self-management, and Team Snap platform for scheduling and communication.What You’ll Gain:At Multnomah Athletic Club, we believe in taking care of our team members.
