Software QA Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience with SQL, front-end testing, and the ability to create smoke tests and user acceptance tests. As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing our software applications and ensuring the quality of the software meets the high standards set by our company.This is a full-time, salaried position that is either hybrid in Manchester, NH, or fully remote. It’s open to candidates in the US who are eligible to work without current or future sponsorship. The salary range is $70,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on skills and expertise.As a Software QA Engineer, you will:Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our software applications.Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.Create, maintain, and execute automated tests using various testing tools and frameworks.Conduct manual and automated front-end testing to ensure that the user interface is user-friendly and responsive.Create smoke tests and user acceptance tests to ensure that the software meets the acceptance criteria and is ready for production release.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and customer support to ensure that the software is of the highest quality.Perform ad-hoc testing, regression testing, and performance testing as required.Create and maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.Continuously improve the software quality process by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.What you’ll bring to the Software QA Engineer role:Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database testing.3+ years of experience as a QA.2+ years of SQL experience.3+ years of experience in software testing.Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail or similar tools.Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.Experience creating and executing smoke tests and user acceptance tests.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.You may be a top candidate if you have:Experience in front-end testing using testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress.Cloud based development (Azure, AWS, etc.) experience.Experience with Snowflake database.Moore’s commitment to candidates:Moore is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
