Description

The Human Resources Director - Retail will be responsible for oversight of human resources efforts for our retail stores. This will include a focus on recruitment, staffing, implementing performance evaluation programs and metric tracking based on employee performance. They will also ensure our stores meet compliance with federal, state and in-house regulatory requirements and procedures.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities ?Create and implement employee relations policies to help increase employees' job satisfaction at all retail storesWork with Retail leadership on planning of manpower needs. Proactively assists to fill positionsReviews and makes recommendations for improvement of company policies, procedures and practicesMaintains knowledge of industry trends, employment legislation and compliance requirementsAssists with annual reviews, preparation and administration of company wage and salary programConsults with legal counsel as appropriate regarding personnel matersWorks directly with department managers to assist with personnel mattersTrain team leaders on performance evaluation techniques and best practicesEvaluate and implement an orientation procedure for onboarding new hires and training them to meet the needs of the companyImplement high-performance goals and programs to ensure quality product and service at all of our retail locationsCommunicate with employees about compensation, benefits and other facets of their employmentWorks with Retail and corporate leadership to establish and maintain a learning and development program for retail employeesLeadership development for our managers; driving home the importance of their individual development planMinimum Qualifications ?

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field requiredMust have experience working in human resources in retailFour (4) years' experience in human resources departmentAt least two (2) years' experience in multi-location (5+ locations) in HR Management preferredStrong understanding of the interviewing process, benefits administration, payroll and other HR functionsPHR, SHRM certification a plusExcellent communication, leadership and planning skills
