Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all HR policies and activities, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and aligning HR strategies with the organizations mission. This role is critical in fostering a positive workplace culture, developing talent, and supporting the organizations goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organizations goals.
Staffing & Recruitment:
Identify staffing needs, oversee the recruitment process, and manage talent management best practices.
Employee Development:
Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff and lead organizational initiatives related to employee engagement, inclusion, and growth.
HR Operations:
Administer HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, performance management, and employee relations.
Compliance & Records:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and maintain accurate and confidential HR records.
Payroll & Benefits:
Oversee payroll functions, act as a liaison with external benefits providers, and work closely with the CFO on related responsibilities.
Event Management:
Lead the execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, employee recognition events, and organizational meetings.
Research & Analysis:
Conduct research and analysis on organizational trends, and provide insights to the CEO on exit interview trends and other HR metrics.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work with other Directors on employee relations, staffing, and culture initiatives, and assist the CEO in credentialing and privileging providers across service lines.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the HR department budget.
Other Duties:
Perform additional duties as required by the CEO.

Work Environment:This role is based in a healthcare facility and may involve working within view of patients or the public.
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources Management
Preferred Education/Experience:
Masters degree in a related field
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred
Additional Requirements:
Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
