Job Description

Responsibilities include:

Market Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends. Analyze competitor strategies and market conditions.Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company's goals. Create long-term plans to achieve growth and market penetrationTarget Market Identification:

Identify and target potential clients in various sectors, such as commercial, industrial, healthcare, municipal, education, and retail construction.Client Acquisition:

Identify and establish relationships with potential clients. Lead efforts to secure new contracts and projects.Networking:

Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company and build relationships with potential clients and partners.RFP/RFQ Response:

Lead the development of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs). Coordinate with the estimating and project management teams to prepare competitive and compelling bids.Proposal Development:

Oversee the creation of proposal documents, ensuring they are accurate, professionally presented, and aligned with client requirements.Marketing Strategy:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and materials that effectively communicate the company's capabilities and achievements.Pipeline Management:

Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline. The Successful Applicant

5+ years in a Business Development roleExperience winning business for a commercial construction general contractor is a mustBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.What's on Offer

Compensation package includes:

Base salary $120,000-$135,000 depending on experienceBonus structure - negotiable based on individualESOP program + 401k planVehicle allowanceTechnology allowanceHealth insurance including dental and visionPTO
