This includes ensuring that policies and procedures are followed; safe staffing levels are maintained; supplies and equipment are at sufficient levels; and efficient patient throughput is managed. Develops, implements, and manages the department budget. Engages in ongoing quality and performance improvement, invests in lifelong learning for staff professional development, and assures employees complete required annual competencies. Maintains own professional growth and development in nursing leadership and required licensure. Communicates important information to the CNO and other Administrative Team members as needed.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Staff development and evidence-based clinical practicePersonnel resource/productivity managementFiscal managementPatient quality, safety, and performance improvementRegulatory complianceRequired Education:Bachelor’s degree is required; Master's degree is preferred.Required License:Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state).Required Certification:BLS is required within 30 days of hire; ACLS is required within 90 days of hire.Required Experience:3-5 years supervisory experience in Cardiac Cath lab setting; 5 years training, education, and/or experience as Cardiac Cath Lab RN.
