in Medical Lake, WA.In this role, you will provide administrative support to

Eastern State Hospital

and the Fiscal Analyst 4 (Payroll Officer) in administering, processing and record keeping involved with payroll time and attendance which includes: processing fiscal calculations, reconciliations/audits, and entries of all time and attendance source documents into the statewide Human Resource Management System (HRMS) payroll system for Eastern State Hospital, a 24 hours institution.Your hard work and attention to detail will support our mission to

Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.

Note:

This position is 100% on-site with no telework option.Some of what you'll do:Prioritize, compile, post, analyze, reconcile, and audit payroll record changes by hospital employees as provided from source documentsUsing established State, Federal, DSHS and DOP Personnel/Payroll, and multiple contacts guidelines calculate and process documentation of source documents for automated Human Resources Management System (HRMS) on a daily basisProcess all necessary actions to take place each of the semimonthly pay periods concerning leave without pay, overtime, hourly employees, and leave usageIn compliance with all rules and regulations review, audit, and reconcile all personnel and payroll actions and leave usage for accuracy, taking corrective action when necessaryAct as point of contact with managers, supervisors, and employees, consult on the use of leave, leave balances, and eligibility criteria for various types of leave programsInput attendance records from Leave Tracker or other time and attendance systems in the state payroll attendance reports online system (HRMS)Assist employees with related questionsWhat we are looking for:Professionals with one year experience in computerized payroll accounting with experience in large facility setting of over 200 employeesAbility to process large quantities of fiscal data with consistency, accuracy, and efficiencyExcellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levelsAbility to multi-task and schedule self to meet payroll and report deadlines.Efficient in optimizing limited resources, and supporting the organizational goalsAbility to learn specialized computer systems, HRMS, Leave Tracker/SILAS, and any new programs that may be implemented for the positionAbility to understand and maintain confidentialityWho should apply?Professionals who have 3 years of fiscal record-keeping experience. Education can substitute year for year for experience.
