Shaw supports the spaces in which we work, learn, live, play and heal.Responsibilities:Daily sales calls on existing customers and presenting products to architects, designers, end users, and other users.Prospecting for viable new accounts while developing awareness of market trends in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.Work with architects, designers, flooring contractors, and end users to select appropriate products for their projects.Travel daily throughout assigned area to solicit business.Manage projects from inception to completion, including opportunity identification, product selection, specification, order placement, order tracking, delivery coordination, installation oversight, and maintenance program communication.Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce.com to manage customer base.Follow up on leads from sources such as Dodge, CoStar, and networking groups.Build relationships with existing and new customers through entertaining and networking events.Required Competencies:Build Trusting RelationshipsInfluence OthersExecute Action PlanBuild Customer SatisfactionInitiate ActionAdapt and ChangeRequirements:Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years previous industry sales experience required.Experience calling on the design community (A&D).Preferred:Bachelor’s degreeCandidate already living in Boston, MACommercial interiors/flooring experience preferred.Work Shift:
