Your future starts here.At Keolis Commuter Services, LLC we provide a competitive compensation package that is designed to be flexible and comprehensive to meet the needs of our hard-working employees and their families.Benefits Package Highlights:Generous Medical & Rx planRailroad Retirement BenefitsFidelity 401K ProgramFlexible Spending AccountsTransit and Parking Reimbursement BenefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany Sponsored Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment BenefitsEducation AssistanceShort- & Long-term Disability BenefitsVoluntary Benefits Plan options including:Supplemental health plans for accidents, critical illness, hospital staysPet, Home, Auto insuranceKey responsibilities and accountabilities:Demonstrate and adhere to the Keolis Commuter Services principles of Employee Engagement, Operational Excellence & Safety, Customer Satisfaction, Corporate Social Responsibility and Economic Performance.Implement and monitor operational practices to ensure equipment reliability and quality service while ensuring a safe and productive workplace.Administer and manage the Department’s annual budget to meet financial targets.Analyze utilization of department workforce and facilities to continuously identify improvement in work practices and scheduling.Comply with and ensure staff compliance with all safety rules and procedures and report all hazards as required.Assist in monitoring Rules Compliance for the commuter rail operation.Responsible for training and testing of employees on the Physical Characteristics of the railroad.Responsible for the instruction and examination of all Rules pertinent to Transportation for all employees who operate and dispatch over Commuter Rail properties.Coordinate and publish weekly and monthly safety critical bulletins as well as divisional notices.Administer collective bargaining agreements as required through regular job performance.Attend and participate in all assigned training, specifically safety and security related.Other duties as assigned during emergencies.Core skills required for this job:Combination of position related training, education and experience with a minimum of 3 years experience in railroad operations and safety rules.Must have knowledge of the MBTA/NEC Timetables and Special Instructions Operating & Safety Rules.Knowledge of Physical Characteristics of the railroad and various other manuals preferred.Must be capable of becoming NORAC qualified.Must have introductory skills in MS Office package.Must have strong organizational skills.Must possess excellent verbal and written skills and be able to communicate successfully with a variety of disciplines and levels, including both internal and external staff.Must have demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results.Must be a self-starter who takes the initiative to explore opportunities and develop and evaluate sources.Strong interpersonal skills.Satisfactory prior work history.Additional Statements:Drug and alcohol screening:
